Moderator’s guidelines

The success of Hayat Platform is not measured by the number of lessons students complete, but by their ability to transform what they learn into meaningful practices in their daily lives, at school, and within their communities.

Through your guidance and support, we work together to develop students who are more self-aware, responsible, capable of self-directed learning, and able to translate knowledge into positive and tangible impact.

The platform has been designed to enable students to learn independently through an engaging and interactive digital experience.

The moderator’s role is limited to monitoring, motivating, and creating a supportive environment that helps students benefit fully from the program.

This role does not require teaching or explaining the content, as all learning materials are available to students through the platform

The moderator contributes to:

• Strengthening students’ commitment to the program and its intended outcomes.
• Increasing student engagement and participation.
• Connecting learning with practical application.
• Monitoring student progress and encouraging continuity.
• Supporting the implementation of student initiatives and projects.

Monitoring Student Progress

• Distribute student login accounts and access credentials.
• Monitor students’ access to the platform and their ongoing learning progress.
• Follow up with inactive or delayed students.
• Encourage students to complete their learning pathways within the designated timelines.

Motivation and Encouragement

• Remind students of the importance and objectives of the program.
• Recognize and celebrate students who demonstrate commitment and active participation.
• Promote a culture of self-directed learning and knowledge sharing among peers.

Periodic Meetings

It is recommended that the moderator holds brief meetings with students on a regular basis in order to:

• Discuss key lessons and insights gained.
• Exchange experiences and reflections.
• Share challenges encountered during the learning journey.
• Encourage critical thinking and self-reflection.
• Connect learning outcomes to students’ school and personal lives.

Supervising Practical Application

The moderator supports, encourages, and follows up with students as they translate learning into practical action within the school environment.

Examples include:

• Student-led initiatives.
• Leadership activities.
• Awareness campaigns.
• Community service projects.
• Activities that promote positive values and behaviors.
• Simple entrepreneurship projects.

The objective is to strengthen experiential learning and transform knowledge into meaningful behavior and measurable impact.

Communicating with the Platform Team

• Upload student names and required information through the platform to generate student accounts.
• Share feedback and suggestions.
• Report any challenges or issues faced by students.
• Follow platform updates, announcements, and guidelines.
• Coordinate with the platform administration whenever needed.

The moderator is not expected to:

✗ Teach the content.

✗ Prepare additional educational materials.

✗ Grade assignments or assessments.

✗ Allocate additional classroom periods.

✗ Possess expertise in all program topics.

The moderator’s role is to facilitate, monitor, and support the learning journey—not to act as the content instructor.

The moderator may consider the program successful when observing:

• Consistent student engagement with the platform.
• High completion rates across learning pathways.
• Active participation in discussions and activities.
• Implementation of student initiatives and applied projects.
• Students’ ability to connect learning to their daily lives.
• Students sharing and discussing what they have learned with their peers.
• Positive feedback from students regarding their personal growth and development.

To achieve the best outcomes, it is recommended to:

• Allocate regular time for monitoring the program.
• Continuously encourage student participation.
• Celebrate small achievements and milestones.
• Connect learning with practical application.
• Involve students in designing initiatives and activities.
• Foster a positive environment that encourages learning, growth, and self-development.
